About the Stickledown Steels
Shooting at steel targets has become very popular over the years. As such, we have now developed an opportunity on selected dates as listed below, where these are available to be booked by larger groups or affiliated clubs.
The set up will consist of an allocation of 3 lanes on Stickledown (shooting permitted on the left and right lanes allocation) shooting from the 1000yd firing point with 6 steels on each lane. The targets will be set at random distances out to approx 880yds.
Please be aware that HME (High Muzzle Energy) Firearms are not permitted to be shot on the Stickledown Steels.
Two obstacles can be booked as an addition for these events for an extra charge of £8.
Obstacles will be allocated based on operational requirements. However, you may indicate your preferences in the booking comments, and the team will make every reasonable effort to accommodate them.
How to Book
To book, create an online booking, selecting the range options as "Stickledown Steels" or contact the Range Office for availability.
These sessions consists of lanes 1-3 (as referred to above).

(Low Season until 29th March 2026)
(High Season from 29th March 2026 onwards)
Please note, unlike our member days, there is no NRA RO provided with these dates.
The 25% offer on Tuesdays does not apply to these events.

The steels are also available to be booked through two of our member days; Stickledown steels and .22 long range steels.
The member days provide an opportunity for individuals to come together as a group.
